Jade

Ha! Those who seek will find! After sniffing around for autonomous agents frameworks, a beautiful jewel called Jade emerged. This framework is an open source initiative started by Italian telecom and universities, and it allows up to 5000 independent agents (threads) on my laptop, but can be extended to unlimited number of distributed computers. I am playing with it as of right now, and it looks interesting. Maybe I will be making my small social models before I thought it would be possible! :-)
