Imagination

Everything we see, hear or feel is an interpretation of the reality. Our mind is a great interpretor which tells us what is happening around us. However, we have a possibility to change and form the interpretor, so that the story we are being told is better aligned with the story with think we ought to hear.

Given that this is true, here is my question. If we believe that something has happened, hasn't that happened than? If I go out and see the rain, and feel the raindrops, isn't it raining for me? Even though it maybe is dry as in desert? If I see and feel the rain, the truth for me is that it is raining, no matter what anybody else says.

What is real? How much of the lives that we live is a real, solid thing, that can not be affected by the interpretation, and how much is an interpretation?

And isn't the perfect way to happiness just fooling your self into believing that you already are there?
